What are electronic prescriptions?

Electronic prescriptions are an easier way to get your medicines. Instead of printing and signing paper prescriptions, staff at your GP practice will send them directly to the pharmacy you choose. EPS helps you, the NHS and the environment.

What do I need to do?

Contact your chosen pharmacy to let them know you want to use EPS. They will take care of everything else. The pharmacy staff can guide you on how to request your prescription. The only difference is that, in most cases, you won’t receive the green prescription form from your GP practice.
