The practice is a Partnership (non-limited) of four GP Principal Partners based at our purpose built medical centre on Dartington Drive CF23 8SQ. Our practice boundary is shown below.

Sister Cathy Bird RGN, Independent Prescriber - is available by appointment. Cathy manages minor illness clinics, Annual Diabetic clinics & many other nursing duties.
Sister Heather Chappell RGN, BSc, Independent Prescriber - is available by appointment. Heather manages minor illness clinics, annual respiratory clinics & many other nursing duties.
Sister Maggie Bowden RGN, Supplementary Prescriber - is available by appointment. Maggie manages minor illness clinics, annual respiratory clinics, complex wound care, & many other nursing duties
Karen Male NVQ L3 - Health Care Assistant: - is available Monday & Thursday mornings to record blood pressures, redress wounds, complete new patient registration checks, weight monitoring, ECG's, take blood samples (INR's via finger-prick & venous samples).
Leane Archer - Phlebotomist and Health Care Assistant (in training) - is available Monday & Thursday mornings to take blood samples, and additional clinics for vaccinations, ECGs, B12 injections, INR tests, and other various HCA procedures.
Teaching and Training of Health Care Professional
We are a training practice that supports GP Registrars, who are medical professionals currently undergoing specialised training to become fully qualified General Practitioners (GPs). After completing their medical degree and initial foundation training, GP Registrars enter a structured program designed to help them develop the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to practice independently as GPs
We currently have a trainee Healthcare Assistant (HCA) who is gaining practical experience under supervision. Their training includes developing clinical skills such as taking vital signs, assisting with patient care, and performing basic medical tasks. They also receive instruction in communication, infection control, and healthcare administration, while learning to work effectively within our healthcare team.

Mrs Natalie Bridgeman is our Administration Manager & Mrs Jannine Marchant is our Reception Manager.
Reception/Administration
We have a team of 13 receptionists/administrators who are managed by Jannine our Reception Manager:
Louise, Deborah, Julie H, Clare, Caroline, Claire, Julie M, Karen, Lauren, Shabana, Nicola, Cathy and Carolyn.
They are all fully trained and experienced to deal with patients' requests and enquiries in a sensitive and sympathetic manner. They make appointments, take messages, including requests for home visits, and deal with repeat prescriptions. Please keep in mind that if you’re asked a question that seems frustrating, the receptionist is simply working to support both you and the doctor, and sometimes this can be challenging. If needed, please feel free to ask to speak to a receptionist in private.
